It is soft but it's not those soft until my head sink in type. It still maintains support so that's why I was ok to continue using it.
I like the materials the most, the cooling fabric.
The pillow case is awesome. Silk material is wonderful coz it doesn't leave a crease on my face!

I have been having neck pain in the past and unable to find the right pillow. I have about 5-6 different pillows that I bought across the years. But it’s always either too soft, loses its shape after awhile, too hot and makes me sweat alot in the middle of the night.
I have been using the Nemuri Kumo pillow for the past 1 year and I must say. THIS IS THE BEST PILLOW of all time!! Totally love it. I have tried alot of pillows from expensive ones to cheap ones, known to unknown brands (literally omg). I’m very picky, bc I’m a combination sleeper (back and side) and my neck is a little shorter so contour pillows don’t work well on me. To add, I have sensitive ears so memory foams (ahem tempur) tend to block my hearing, while latex gives me stiff painful ears when I wake up if I sleep too long on my side!! Down Feather pillows sink in too much over the night and I would wake up to flip them. Basically most of the pillows I’ve tried either work for my neck but pains my ear, or works for my ear but pains my neck! I was iffy at first about trying nemuri because I couldn’t find alot of reviews and I wasn’t sure what would be different from what’s already on the market but, I’ve been trying the pillow since I received it on Tuesday and it’s rly working well for me!!! Lying on top of it, I don’t feel my hearing is muffled and my ears don’t wake up painful anymore!! I also don’t have stiff neck when I wake up & it just makes me happy to come back home to lie down & sleep! It’s cushy / soft enough for the ears but supportive enough for my head and neck, no matter if I sleep on my back or side. I truly love this pillow and I think I’m finally going to end my pillow hunting. 😊😊😊
